one of my strategies to improve my vocabulary and the meaning of different words is to learn with duolingo, it is a tool that provides many study options, the truth is that every time I get a notification on my cell phone saying that I haven't practiced, it takes me immediately to perfect myself in my disciplines and be more applied in the time I take daily to learn. I normally play 20 minutes a day, but when I let several days pass and I do it again, I try to do it for twice as long as I normally do daily. 

The next strategy that I use is to watch movies in English with Spanish subtitles. I am a student of audiovisual media and I am emphasizing cinema, therefore this leads me to watch many movies. This strategy helps me a lot for: When watching movies in English, I am constantly exposed to the language in a real and authentic context. This helps me become familiar with the pronunciation, vocabulary and colloquial expressions used in everyday situations. Improved listening comprehension: By listening to actors speak in English, I train my ear to recognize different accents, rhythms and intonations of the language. This is crucial to improve listening comprehension and get used to the natural speed of speaking in English. Contextual learning: Movies provide visual context that helps me understand the meaning of the words and phrases I hear. I can deduce the meaning of an unknown word from the context of the scene. 

and finally something that helps me a lot is listening to music in English, I play several musical instruments and listening to music of different genres helps me enrich my talent as a musician and listening to it helps me memorize easier: The repetition of words and phrases in a melody Sticky makes it easier to memorize and retain vocabulary and grammatical structures compared to other study methods.
